WebNov 27, 2016 · Civ VI does not understand or detect retina displays. However, by modifying your display resolution you can fix it. For instance, my MBP's physical resolution is 2880x1800. The default display resolution is 1440x900 retina. By setting it to 2880x1800 non-retina, I was able to get Civ VI to detect the full resolution. WebMay 20, 2015 · Every text on the screen is ludicrously small, being the subtitles font size especially annoying. There are parts that it's impossible to read it. I've tried editing the UI Upscale number in the AppData file but it resets every time I launch the game.
WebFor every font type named in the file (there's nearly 50 of em), look for where it says FontSize="XX". Increase every one of these numbers in quotes by +2. For example, the first line is "FontSize=8", so change it to "FontSize=10".

For someone who isn't bothered by small fonts, the default UI scale looks better than with the original font too. In Windows 10, I need to upscale the screen elements up to 140% to feel comfortable. When browsing the web, I need to increase text size on most sites.
