(There's usually an extra one under the bed, too.) It does very little IMO. The "new" mattresses are awful. I really miss the previous mattresses. I ordered an inflatable topper that I take with me now.

Bring what you think you might need. Sleep is important.

I no longer do that. I do, however, ask my cabin attendant to place 2 folded duvets beneath the sheet and it helps some.
